New Cutting-Edge Curriculum with National Geographic Learning

Earlier this month, we announced the brand new collaboration with Oxford International and National Geographic Learning, part of Cengage. This is an exciting step forward as we continue to adapt our English programmes to meet the needs of today’s learners and prepare them for success in the ever-changing world of tomorrow.

About the Collaboration

With a rich history of over 34 years of language teaching expertise, Oxford International has supported over 317,000 students globally on their English language journey. This new collaboration enables us to continue delivering high-quality language instruction and engaging learning experiences.

“I am delighted to announce this link up with National Geographic Learning across our English division,” shares Gary Palmer, Managing Director of OIDI & EFL UK at Oxford International. “This rich syllabus will help inspire students with immersive, specialist, and subject-based learning”.

“Partnering with Oxford International is an exciting step forward,” says James Redgate, Senior Sales Director at Cengage. “By using our Impact and Life programmes in Junior and Adult courses, we’re proud to support Oxford International’s mission to give learners access to global perspectives and innovative teaching.”

Through this new collaboration, our Adult students will be empowered to move beyond the classroom to explore topics that are inspiring and highly relevant in real contexts, bringing the classroom to life!

Bringing the World to the Classroom and the Classroom to Life

Coming soon! Our global Adult English and Year-Round Group programmes in the UK, Canada, the USA, and Australia will be using engaging and innovative National Geographic Learning materials to engage learners in relevant, global topics and enhance their English language learning experiences. These materials include Student Books, Teachers Books, and access to Spark, National Geographic Learning’s all-in-one learning platform.

The National Geographic Learning materials, delivered by our expert teachers, will enable students to:

  • Discuss interesting and relevant global topics
  • Develop a new-found appreciation of different cultures and perspectives
  • Engage with information-rich topics that teach students something new about the world
  • Complete interesting end-of-unit projects that build language and literacy skills
  • Interact with a variety of tools, dynamic lessons, and engaging multimedia resources
