Study at one of our two US University partners and benefit from direct entry into your desired programme without the need for an English level test, or improve your Academic English to successfully apply to any post-secondary institution in the US!
Each afternoon, you will participate in interactive classes that build your Academic English proficiency through engaging discussions, hands-on activities, and immersive language exercises that develop your English language foundation and prepare you for success during your post-secondary studies.
Pathway Afternoon: 20 lessons per week (50 minutes per lesson) of Academic English lessons in the afternoon. This course is ideal for students at a level B1 or higher that want to focus on improving their English for general academic purposes. Study for 6, 12, or 16 weeks.
Vacation Pathway Afternoon: 18 lessons per week (50 minutes per lesson) of Academic English lessons in the afternoon. This course is ideal for students at a level B1 or higher that want to improve their Academic proficiency in a timely manner to gain university entry. Study for 6, 12, or 16 weeks.
Progress may vary but see the recommendations below based on your current level (or equivalent) and your improvement needed. A free virtual placement test will be provided to confirm your placement. Students with an English level less than IELTS 5.0 (or equivalent) should begin their studies in the General English Morning lessons.

Within our Pathway Programme, you have access to the Pathway Director and Coordinator who help you navigate the higher education enrolment process, as well as provide guidance on choosing the right school for your career goals. Once you begin the University Pathway Programme, the Pathway Coordinator meets with you on a regular basis to evaluate your progress and liaise with our partner institutions, ensuring you are on track and well prepared for your post-secondary studies at the end of your programme.

Studying at Oxford has been great for my life, especially because I have classes all day. All classes are good, but the elective classes help me more because I can improve my speaking and my listening. The level of teachers is really so good, and the methodology helps a lot. My main goal is to improve my listening, and I think that I am getting there. Furthermore, we have the opportunity to talk with classmates from different countries and this can help us to understand English independently if it is spoken for a native or not.
