For Students Aged 16-17 Years
We welcome students aged 16+ to study at our Adult English schools in the UK, Canada, and the USA. For students aged 16-17 years, we want to ensure you are safe, happy, and healthy while studying with us.
Please note that students must be 18+ to study with us in Melbourne in the Adult English programmes.

Travel
As a student, you are responsible for your own travel during the following:
- To and from your point of arrival or departure, unless you book an arrival or departure transfer with us before you arrive.
- Between our English schools and your accommodation.
Social Programme
Students aged 16-17 years may not be able to attend some social programme activities, as they may have a minimum age of 18+. This is in accordance with Oxford International and British laws.
Supervision
Oxford International will not be responsible for your supervision during the following occasions:
- Travelling between social programme activities and your accommodation.
- Between the end of lessons and your return to your accommodation (if you do not join any social programme activities).
- If you choose to go out after your evening meal or on weekends (if you do not join any social programme activities).
Accommodation
If you book a homestay accommodation with us, it must be on a half-board or B&B basis.
- Half-board: Breakfast and dinner are included; you are responsible for your own lunch each day.
- B&B: Breakfast is included; you are responsible for your own lunch and dinner each day.
You must also abide by the accommodation and school rules and return to your accommodation no later than 23:00 each night. Parents may request earlier curfews.

Parental Consent
Students aged 16-17 years must have a signed parental consent form, which provides us with the necessary information and permission to have you study with us at our Adult English schools in the UK.
